A PLACE TO GATHER
At Benton Rise Farm, gatherings have always felt most special when they unfold naturally. Set on the Mornington Peninsula, the farm has long been a place where people come together to share time, mark milestones, and enjoy being outdoors in a setting that feels relaxed and welcoming. For Tanya and Paul, this sense of ease sits at the heart of what the farm represents. They believe meaningful celebrations are shaped by connection, not formality.
Surrounded by open paddocks and fresh air, the farm offers a gentle environment suited to family outdoor events, children’s birthdays, and thoughtful corporate events. There is room for kids to move freely, space to slow down, and a calm atmosphere that helps gatherings feel unforced. Time spent here often centres on conversation, nature, and shared experiences rather than rigid schedules.
Tanya and Paul are mindful of the farm’s role within the local community. They see it as a shared place, one that has supported functions on the Mornington Peninsula through warmth, simplicity, and connection. Past gatherings have included kids birthday celebrations, family milestones, and small group events shaped by authenticity and care.
While events are currently paused, the intention remains. Tanya and Paul continue to hold a clear vision for future functions and events, grounded in respect for the land and the people who gather here.

I can’t believe we haven’t visited Benton Rise Farm sooner!! It’s so gorgeous and such a wonderful place for children (and adults) to explore. My daughters and I visited today for the first time and we absolutely loved our time here. The cafe has a great selection of tasty fresh food and the coffee was excellent. The staff were all so friendly, warm and welcoming. There’s so many wonderful places to rest, including an awesome vintage tram! It was obvious from the moment we drove in that a lot of care is taken to maintain this beautiful farm, making it such a delight to visit. There’s also a wonderful produce store, offering delicious products from a variety of local suppliers. Benton Rise Farm is so awesome, we can’t wait to visit again soon!Posted on Google

The vibe here since the new owners has been wonderful, the tram is stocked with so many organic goodies, I had some cherry tomatoes that were honestly the way real tomatoes should taste. If you value your health and quality produce, can afford to support local makers and growers - this is the place!Posted on Google

Very quaint farm with free range chickens, sheep n goats. Spacious for kids to wander and explore around the gardens, or play on the playground or explore in the train carrage. So relaxing with plenty of seating options . Also super dog friendly (dogs must be on leash). The fresh produce sold in the train shop is amazing. The cafe has good stock of yummy snacks. And lastly, the staff is super sweet, friendly, so cheerful and so welcoming.+3Posted on Google

Benton Rise Farms is a great local farm gate on the Mornington Peninsula. The produce is fresh, seasonal, and consistently good quality. It’s an easy place to stop in, take your time, have a coffee and pick up what you need. The farm setting makes it a good spot for families as well, with animals there for the kids to enjoy. A solid option if you’re looking for fresh local produce and a more relaxed farm gate experience.Posted on Google

Visited here over a week ago. Such a cute and unique little produce store & café — definitely worth adding to your list when exploring the Mornington Peninsula region. The produce shop being set inside a vintage tram is such a charming touch, and the small animal farm makes it a really lovely stop, especially for families. Everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and a bit different from your usual stopovers. A great little hidden gem for a casual visit.+2Posted on Google
